Here's a video of us practicing... A sneak peek of the Austin Lounge Lizards' new version of "Jesus Loves Me But He Can't stand You." Nobody wanted to see that song disappear from our repertoire when "Reverend" Tom retired. It's just too much fun! So we got Hank to put his own spin on it. Time will tell if our fans decide whether Hank is the new "Reverend", the newest GOP nominee, or just another crazy guy.

Austin Lounge Lizards Compared to the Beatles and the Simpsons
We had fun making "Too Big to Fail." We caused a bit of a stir ... after filming indoors we went outside and took some stills on the street. We got a few different reactions, dressed the way we were. Some people wouldn't look at us (even though we had to move out of their way while doing our "Abbey Road" pose). Some smiled and waved, but we didn't expect anyone to call the police! Somebody called to complain that "there are naked boys wearing barrels on the street." Julieann and Darcie were offended. We're Lizards just doing our part to keep Austin weird.
Whether that part of the story made the paper or not- we aren't sure. But here is our news story on video...
